Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just a couple of days in front of its upcoming UFC 325: “Volkanovski vs. Lopes 2” mixed martial arts (MMA) event on Paramount+, scheduled for this Sat. night (Jan. 31, 2026) from inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The event will air Feb. 1 local time as a result of the discrepancy in time zones.
UFC 325 will be headlined by the featherweight rematch between reigning 145-pound titleholder, Alex Volkanovski, and No. 2-ranked title contender, Diego Lopes. In the UFC 325 co-main event, Dan Hooker and Benoit Saint Denis collide in an all-action lightweight affair.
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one who’s not excited for this numbered event.
“I know the fans are not happy,” Volkanovski’s coach, Joe Lopez, told Submission Radio. “A couple of the boys have been telling me about the comments — they’re not very favorable. And no disrespect to Diego, but like I said, when your last fight you beat him and it wasn’t like it was a close fight, it was very one-sided. Why not give (Lerone) Murphy or Movsar (Evloev) a go? That’s my opinion anyway.”
