Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira successfully made weight once again for his “BMF” title fight against Max Holloway later tonight (Sat., March 7, 2026) at UFC 326 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., but what is it costing “do Bronx” at the end of the day?
On Friday, Oliveira tipped the scale at 156 pounds for his main event “BMF” title fight against “Blessed.” The former UFC champion looked pretty depleted, but fight fans don’t see everything that goes into a successful weight cut for a fighter. Oliveira’s team shared a photo of his grueling cut ahead of Friday’s official weigh ins and it didn’t look all that fun. Check it out below:
After UFC 326’s early weigh ins were over Oliveira was free to start bulking up. The lightweight veteran wasted little time and ended up ballooning back up to 170 pounds just 12 hours later. It’s an alarming weight loss/gain and one that even caught the attention of UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Check it out below:
“Tell me what is ’BMF’ about making these men cut this weight?” asked McGregor. “There is no need. I accept the winner at 185lbs!”
